Cake Alchemy Mothers Day Cupcake Decorating Class
Do something creative and memorable for Mothers Day this year—spend an afternoon with your mom or daughter learning how to decorate cakes and cupcakes like a pro. Participants in the Cake Alchemy Decorating Class will learn basic techniques, such as:
- working with and coloring fondant
- making basic cut-out flowers and rolled roses
- using cut-out appliques
And will see how to decorate cupcakes with mini purses and shoes.
When: Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Cost: $100 per mother-daughter pair (sons are welcome too). Mother and daughter will get to take home cake and frosting recipes along with the three cupcakes each that theyll be decorating (for a total of six).
